Because we'd teach the lot and treat them just the same. Because we'd take loyalty and hard work over cleverness, courage, or ambition any day. Because Professor Sprout rules. Because being underestimated isn't always a bad thing. Puff pride!
Pottermore sorting feelings.
Anonymous asked : okay, i'm having an identity crisis- BIG TIME. I always thought of myself as a Ravenclaw, but my PM test came back Hufflepuff. And i love it! But, I don't know, it just doesn't seem like my actual house. I mean, I love learning, and books, and creativity and wit, and I'm not very patient at all. that being said, I stick up for my friends, I'm modest, trustworthy, and tolerant. Help?

Honestly, I felt similar to this for a while too. I love biology and want to study it for the rest of my life. I study very hard, and enjoy it. I also consider myself an artist. But, overall, what I value most in myself are the traits that make me a Hufflepuff. I think being kind and fair is infinitely more important than being smart or witty. This is similar to what Hermione said in the first movie/book to Harry about how she had books and knowledge but that chivalry and bravery were more important.

I don’t know if that’s exactly what you’re feeling or not.

On the other side of things, you could be on the line between the two houses as many people are. In life there are definitely more than just four kinds of people.
